Kabul (BNA) President Karzai met with elders and influential of Badakhshan province during which representing other Dr. Nilofar Ibrahimi asked government attention towards asphalting of roads, provision of electricity power and other problems of the people of the province. They asked president Karzai that the government should evacuate the residents of the province living on the mountain stops to other places in order to save them from the probable floods. They also asked for building clinics, improving of education and ensuring of security. President Karzai assured the elders of the province that their demands will be considered and appropriate measures will be taken by the government for solving their problems. In another part of the meeting led by advisor minister Prof. Nematullah Shahrani deputy ministers of rehabilitation and rural development, public health, public works and education, water and energy and finance ministries as well the national disaster committee representative discussed problems of the province and they assured proper measures by the government.
