Kabul (BNA) Basketball federation is due to launch national basketball competitions in Kabul.
Ghulam Ghous Nekbeen secretary general of basketball federation said BNA, the aim of holding competitions is choosing the members for national basketball team.
He added, at the end of the competitions 18 top athletes will be chosen for the basketball national team, to play at South Asian basketball competitions, due to be held among 8 teams of the countries of the region hosted by Nepal at Katmandu the capital of the country.
