Kabul (BNA) The minister for refugees and repatriation affairs, Jamahir Anwari has called on national traders and businessmen to support the displaced families during the month of Ramadan.
The families who have been forced to leave their houses due to natural or other reasons and used to live under tent, deserve national support, the minister added.
Minister Anwari also added that he had called upon the Kabul-based embassies of Islamic countries and aid agencies to extend support to the displaced people.
Meantime, Mehar Khuda Sebar the head of emergency department of the ministry for refugees affairs said more than 2500 displaced families have been living in several parts of Kabul city under tents and no aid body has provided humanitarian assistance during Ramadan.
