“Struggle Against Narcotics Requires World Cooperation”: Interior Minister

Kabul (BNA) Minister of Interior Affairs Mohammad Omar Daoudzai in his meeting with US assistant secretary of state, who is on a visit to Kabul, discussed the status of struggle against narcotics. 
Interior Ministry press office said BNA, at this meeting Daoudzai called the struggle against narcotics the joint work of the world community because not only Afghanistan but the whole world community will be harmed of this ugly phenomenon, so there is need for vast world cooperation.
The US assistant Secretary of state voiced US support for the interior ministry’s program for struggle against narcotics and said that the US, people and the US government is on the side of the government of Afghanistan and shall continue her assistance and cooperation in this respect with all possibilities.
