Kabul (BNA) Thirteen armed insurgents were killed and nine others wounded in a clash with security forces in Nangarhar province yesterday.
Colonel Hazrat Hosain Mashriqiwal media official of Nangarhar security directorate said BNA, the clash occurred when security forces faced in ambush of Taliban in Sarak Dokandaran region, Khogyani district.
The source added, three senior leaders of armed Taliban were among the deaths.
Eyewitness said, in the clash a border police was also wounded.
