
Jalalabad (BNA) Thirteen Taliban insurgents, including several Pakistani Taliban insurgents, were killed in an airstrike in Nangarhar.
Mullah Abdul Qudus, a local Taliban commander, was among those killed.
The Taliban were attacked by air force in Khogyani district bazaar just before noon yesterday when they attacked a security checkpoint.
A senior Nangarhar security official told BNA that 13 Taliban militants, including several Pakistani Taliban insurgents, were killed in the airstrike.
He confirmed that Mullah Abdul Qadus, a local Taliban commander, was also among those killed.

The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
