Kabul (BNA) Spokesman for the ministry for work and social affairs, Ali Iftikhari said yesterday that a number of foreign nationals who work in Afghanistan have been identified and their names have been sent to the security entities.
Without revealing their countries, Mr. Iftikhari said majority of these foreign nationals have been working with private institutions including educational and hospitals, adding efforts are underway to find solution for this problem.
He also noted any foreign national works in Afghanistan should have work permit.
The presence of foreign workers particularly in the fields of construction has caused concern as terrorist in the recent terrorist attacks had used under construction buildings in targeting national interests.
