NPC Approves 6 Contracts

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani chaired the meeting of the National Procurements Commission (NPC) in which six contracts worth 421 million Afghanis have been approved, a statement from his office said the other day.
The contracts included procurement of equipment, Yakawlang PVC, tentative laboratories of some provinces of Kabul, Herat and Nangarhar and extension of the timeline for complete design and survey of 185 kilometers road of Dara-e-Suf, said the statement.
Contracts on the observation of the Kabul-Jalalabad highway construction work process and construction of Greshk-Nawzad 15 kilometer road are among the contracts approved by the NPC, the statement added.
The NPC also approved provincial universities’ needed furniture and Millie Bus enterprise needed petroleum, as well as the national defense ministry’s emergency firefighting materials, the statement said.
According to the statement, the NPC rejected some offers related to the restaurant of the ministry of justice located in Darul Aman Highway and the logistic general directorate related 1395’s 45 items of sport-wares for not corresponding to the laws of the NPC. The project was instructed by the NPC to be put in open bidding based on the standards of the national procurements laws, according to the statement.
The meeting of the NPC also rejected three projects offered by the Brishna Sherkat’s and the ministry of rural rehabilitation for technical problems, and instructed the organs concerned for removal of the problems, said the statement.
