Thousands of Families Received Assistance in Ghazni

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has announced the distribution of foodstuff to 4,750 needy families in Ghazni.

The ministry said in a statement that the Ghazni Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department had distributed food to 4,750 needy families in the Malistan district of the province through the World Food Program (WFP).

According to another report, the Afghan Red Crescent Society provided food aid to 800 needy and deserving families in Al-Shir district and Khost sher yesterday.

The aid, includes sugar, flour, cooking oil, macaroni, beans, paste and rice, was donated by the Turkish Red Crescent to needy families.

The process of distributing humanitarian aid from national and international organizations continues throughout the country, but the people of Afghanistan demand transparency and justice in the distribution trend of this aid.
