SHEBERGHAN (BNA) The World Food Programme (WFP) in cooperation with Shelter For life Relief Institution, distributed foodstuff to 7,500 families affected by the war and drought in Aqcha Jawzjan district today.
A Source from Shelter For life Institution told BNA that the pre-surveyed families were given flour, cooking oil, and peas by the World Food Programme.
Many families who have benefited from this assistance said that they are in dire need of such assistance and that the scope of its distribution should be expanded.
