Twenty Taliban Militants Killed In Afghan Joint Operation

Kandahar (BNA) At least 20 Taliban was killed and eighteen others were wounded during Shafaq joint operation.
Samim Khpalwak spokesman governor of Kandahar province said BNA, the operation was launched by joint Afghan National Forces in Albak area , Shah Wali  Kot district of Kandahar province aiming to clean  Kandahar, Urozgan highway, in which 18 insurgents were killed and 20 others were wounded.
The operation was conducted, for clearing of Kandahar Urozgan highway, based on the complaints of the people where the Taliban were harassing there.
20 rounds of anti-vehicle mines have been discovered and neutralized by cooperation of engineering tem.
