Commission On Celebration of Bamyan As SAARC Capital Holds Meeting

Kabul (BNA) The commission on celebration of Bamyan as SAARC cultural capital, with Sayed Mosadiq Khalili the MoIC deputy on cultural affairs on the chair yesterday, BNA reported.
In the meeting also attended by Presidential advisor on construction affairs, engineer Mohammad Yusuf Pashtun, advisor of Chief Executive on youth affairs Habiba Sarabi, chairman of environment directorate, Mustafa Zahir and officials from ministries for defense, interior, foreign affairs, transport and Agha Khan Foundation, matters pertaining preparation for celebration were discussed. Briefing the meeting, Mosadiq Khalili said that the concerned authorities have to put all necessary measures in place to welcome foreign guests in best manner besides ensuring full prove security during the festivals. The committee in-charge for security, cultural and receiving the guests in the festival presented their reports, besides proposing their suggestions. Meantime, Mustafa Zahir said that the World Environment Protection Day would be marked on June 6 in Band-e-Amir, Bamyan province.
