Asadabad (BNA) Fifteen armed militants were killed and seventeen others wounded in clashes between ANA forces and Taliban in Manogi district, Kunar province this morning.
Shojaul-Malik Jalala governor of Kunar province said BNA, the clashes started while a group of Taliban militants attacked on different parts of Manogi district, as a result of clashes between the two sides, 15 armed Taliban lost their lives and 17 others wounded.
According to Jalala, the attacks took place in Dara-e-Pech region, which connected Manoigi and Chapa Dara districts of Kunar province,
In the attacks, three ANA forces were also martyred and four others wounded.
Jalala added that two civilians which including a woman and a man have been wounded.
He said, more troops were deployed to the site and clashes continuing their so far.
