All Security Firms Should Cooperate With MoI In Responsibility Handover

Kabul (BNA) Minister of interior warned all security companies to hand over their security responsibility to the new formed administration of the ministry, or they would face with serious measures of the ministry. 
General Bismellah Mohammadi, minister of interior made it clear on Wednesday when holding the security responsibility of three companies. 
By signing a protocol, three security companies officially handed over their responsibilities to deputy ministry of public protection. 
Two of the companies were American, while the other one was an Afghan company. 
After signing the protocol between the three companies and deputy ministry of public protection of the ministry, the minister of interior said, “for further maintenance of security, prevention of corruption and dissolution of parallel security institutions, presidential palace issued a decree number 62 for dissolution of security companies and their organization in the framework of deputy ministry of public protection.” 
During the past six months, ministry of interior with coordination of domestic and foreign personnel of the companies has made a work procedure for dissolution of the companies. 
It is worth mentioning that 57 private security companies including six companies run by high-ranking officials of the government have been dissolved so far. 
Nearly 3.139 billion Afs which paid as fine by the companies paid to government budget. 
Nearly 6000 various light and heavy arms which have been collected from the security companies handed over to DIAG.
