Govt. To Solve Refugees’ Problems On Priority Basis: CE

Kabul (BNA) The government of national unity would do its best to solve the problems of Afghan refugees on priority basis. This was stated in a message by chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah released yesterday to mark the World Refugees Day.
In his message the chief executive said that Afghanistan by having some 7 million refugees has longest refugees in the world, adding the continuation of war and violence have negatively affected the refugees return and their participation to the country’s reconstruction process.
Migration and taking refuge has its root in war, natural disaster, drought and other problems force people to leave their houses and seek refuge in other countries.
Afghan refugees living in the neighboring states and other countries, the chief executive said are human resources and expertise for Afghanistan who have learned a lot over the past 30 years who can use their experiences for rebuilding their country after returning home.
Likewise, the chief executive thanked the minister for refugees and repatriation affairs, Sayed Hussain Aalemi Balkhi for his efforts and initiatives to find solution for the problems of refugees and facilitate their return to native homeland.
