Kabul (BNA) At least 85 armed insurgents were killed during the past week in Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz province.
Pamir 20 army corps press office said BNA, the operations were launched in cooperation of air and artillery forces in the last week in which 85 armed insurgents were killed and 61 other insurgents were detained.
Gen. Mohammad Akram Samih Pamir 20 army corps commander said, during the operations Taliban sustained casualties, 16 mines discovered and defused and some villages of the district have been cleared from presence of insurgents.
