Asadabad City (BNA) Two Taliban insurgents were killed and three others wounded due to military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in eastern Kunar province.
According to information of 201 Sylab army corps press office to BNA, the operation was launched to eliminate armed rebels and protect the lives and properties of people in restive areas of Chapa Dara district of Kunar province.
Some heavy and light weapons and ammunitions have been seized during the operation as well, the source added.
