Jalalabad City (BNA) About 44 rounds of different type of weapons have been submitted to Disbandment Illegal Armed Group (DIAG) program in eastern Nangarhar province yesterday.
Salim Khan Kunduzi Nangarhar governor said BNA reporter, the delivered weapons include 16 Kalashnikovs and 28 rounds of pistols along with some weapons shells and military equipment.
A person was arrested accused of the case and handed over to judicial for further investigation, Kunduzi added.
Meanwhile, following joint military operations led by Afghan National Police, Afghan Border Police and National Security Directorate (NSD) personnel 511 rounds of different type of weapons have been discovered and delivered to DIAG program during the 1394 year in Nangarhar province.
