“World Cooperation Can Prevent Return of Afghanistan To Past Era”: Marshal Fahim

Kabul (BNA) Marshal Mohammad Qasem Fahim First Vice President met with the Polish ambassador to Kabul Peter Luka Sevich and exchanged views with him on cooperation between Afghanistan and Poland in economic and cultural spheres and continued support of Poland to Afghanistan.
Marshal Fahim at this meeting emphasized on the need for world cooperation with Afghanistan and added that the cooperation of international community can prevent Afghanistan’s return to the past era.
He added that Poland has assisted Afghanistan in the past years in economic, cultural and military spheres and it is hoped that this process continue.
He noted that security in Afghanistan after 2014 necessitates having of modern and equipped and trained security forces that the world community including the friends of Afghanistan will assist in this respect.
The Polish ambassador expressed the hope that the people of Afghanistan can restore peace and security in their country and added that his country will remain on the side of the Afghan nation and will cooperate for its progress.
He expressed the willingness of Poland in investment in Afghanistan in road building, exploration and extraction of mines and stressed that they are desirous to participate at the infrastructural projects and this way assist upgrading the economy of Afghanistan.
