Kabul (BNA) The Afghan ambassador to Sweden Dr. Hamid Hami presented his credentials to His Excellency Karl Gostav the king of Sweden due to a special ceremony held in Stockholm on other day.
During this ceremony, ambassador Hami expressed the salutations and good wishes of President Hamid Karzai to King Gostav.
Afterwards, addressing to president Karzai, the King of Sweden expressed his salutations and good wishes and hoped Afghanistan and its people to take step towards progress and institutionalization of democracy and Afghanistan be further stable and prosperous.
Likewise, during this meeting, the both sides spoke in connection with political, economic, cultural and security issues of Afghanistan and the region.
It is mentionable that during 13 previous years, in the framework of NATO program in Afghanistan, the Swedish soldiers had activities against terrorism and extremism and this country helped Afghanistan considerably in political, economic and social fields that the activities of Swedish Committee during previous 30 years are mentionable and laudable.
