Takhar (BNA) The Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate discovered and defused a magnetic of mines that had been placed on a passenger car before the explosion in Ghezel Kotal village of Kalafgan district of Takhar province yesterday.
Mawlavi Nawaz al-Haq, the district governor of Kalafgan in Takhar, confirmed the news to BNA, saying that the mine was defused by the technical team of the Islamic Emirate and that efforts were being made to arrest the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, residents of the area thanked the district authorities for taking timely action to prevent the mine explosion and said that they are cooperating with the Islamic Emirate to fight criminal and anti-security activities.
