Kabul (BNA) A special meeting chaired by President Hamid Karzai was held to express the condolences and sympathies of the people of Afghanistan to the Muslim nation of Palestine. According to BNA, at the meeting held in Arg in which the two Vice-presidents, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Finance as well as the National Security Advisor were present, the Israeli attacks on Gaza and killing of innocent people were condemned. To show the sympathy of Afghan people, the meeting approved an amount of US$500,000 from the state budget as humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza.
