KABUL(BNA) Senior official of the Turkish Ministry of Mines vowed that its country will build an advanced Mining Lab for Afghanistan in a meeting with Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum said in a press release the meeting concentrated decision on the establishment of an advanced laboratory for the examination, analysis, and marketing of Afghanistan’s mines.
The Afghan specialists and labor will have control in all sections of the laboratory, Said the senior official of Turkey.
Same like he assured that اhis country Turkey will provide training for the laboratory’s workforce and specialized staff.
Acting Minister Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar hailed Turkish cooperation in building such a Mining Lab for Afghanistan and called for the expansion of economic bilateral ties between Afghanistan and Turkey.
Recently, the interest of domestic and foreign investors in investing in Afghanistan’s mines has increased. Last week, contracts for two large mines in Herat and Ghor were put out to tender by order of the Cabinet Economic Commission.
