Kabul (BNA) Clearing operations of ANA troops continues in different parts of the country and in recent development 97 armed Taliban insurgents were killed.
Defense ministry press office reported BNA, the clearing operations conducting aimed to clear several districts from existence of insurgents in some districts of Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Kandahar, Urozgan, Diakundi, Farah, Badghis, Herat, Nangarhar, Pul-e-Khomri, Baghlan, Jouzjan, Faryab, Takhar and Helmand provinces, killed 97 insurgents, wounded 88 and arrested number of others.
Numerous of weapons and war equipment’s were also seized by ANA forces,
According to another report, 13 ANA soldiers were martyred during their security missions in throwing of heavy weapons and explosion of mine in different parts of the country.
Likewise, the ANA troops discovered and neutralized 98 mines during their security missions.
