Kabul (BNA) February 27 the national day is a day of celebrating of the heroic straggle of security forces against terrorism and extremism that only not threaten the region but the entire world.
BNA the military affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes the cabinet of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in one of its sessions, named February 27 as the day of national security and defense forces of the country.
Naming such a day in fact we once again express our commitment toward supporting the national security forces and appreciate their championship and heroic straggle against the most brutal enemies not only of our homeland but the humanity as a whole in order to rid the humankind from the evil of terrorism and extremism that challenge the world.
February 27 would be a permanent prideful day at the calendar of Afghanistan because in this the Afghan people remembering the heroic straggle of their sons and daughters against the fatal of terrorism and extremism express their firm stands beside them once again.
The security and defense forces of Afghanistan have been constitute from brave and faithful sons of the country who are fighting for safeguarding national values, national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of the country are deserve to all kinds of support and gratitude of people. Afghan army and security forces is a symbol of nation unity where all people without any ethnical, religious and linguistic discrimination as Afghans serve honestly for maintaining peace and stability in their homeland.
As we mentioned earlier February 27 is a day for celebrating the braveries and the firm stance of Afghan security forces in straggle against the brutal enemies, is also a good opportunity for assessing the problems and challenges they are facing.
Last year was the most difficult for Afghan security forces that in an horrible situation with the least possibilities heroically fought against the foreign invaders, foiled all conspiracies of the enemies and repelled all the terrorist attacks in different parts of the country.
In spite of that, the Afghan security and defense forces as mentioned above have showed their bravery and championship in war against terrorism and extremism exercised certain problems. They reputedly complained of shortage of accommodations and equipping them timely with necessary weapons and equipment. The most heinous rumors spread in the community, which is a clear evident of treachery; this was selling the weapons and ammunitions of Afghan soldiers to the enemies.
In addition to that, treacherous act, the families of martyrs, disabled and wounded soldiers have complained for receiving the legal rights that is a clear violation against the rights of people who had not spare their lives for the cause of the homeland.
The Afghan thankful people ask the relevant authorities should do their best to solve the urgent needs of the security forces and provide them all things they need. In this way, they fulfill their commitments against security forces in one hand and another hand meet the expectations of people regarding to fully equipping security forces with up to date weapons and providing them with necessary accommodations. If the relevant authorities to do so, they besides fulfilling their obligations they also will win the hearts and satisfaction of Afghan people.
