MBTA’s Press Release

Sunday, May 27, 2018

Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs (MoBTA) in a press release said Pakistani parliament’s unilateral move on joining free tribes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state was neither acceptable to people nor to the government of Afghanistan.
Because, the move would not only stabilize the region but would worsen the situation.
Rejecting the unilateral move, the MoBTA said the people in both sides of Durand Line don’t agree with the decision, because, it would bring Afghanistan’s territorial integrity under question and those who have been free wouldn’t be so hereafter.
The ministry of borders and tribal affairs while rejecting the one-sided action, wants to present its complaint through relevant administration to the United Nations.
The ministry believes that the people of Afghanistan have blood relations with each other and no one can separate them.
The ministry added that instead of such problematic moves, the regional countries should honestly fight terrorism and target the terrorists’ hideouts inside their souls so the nations live in a peaceful and secure atmosphere.
