Gardiz City (BNA) At least 8 Taliban fighters were killed and four others wounded in operation led by Afghan military personnel in eastern Paktika province.
Press office of 203 Tander army corps reported BNA, the military operation was conducted in Shahkhel, Maharatkhel and Goleen villages of Zarmat district of Paktika province, as a result 12 Taliban rebels were killed and wounded.
Also a militant along with his hand weapon arrested by Afghan security personnel.
It has been said, several motorcycles belonging to Taliban destroyed during the operation.
