Jamahir Anawari Seeks Polish Assistance In Checking Human Trafficking

Kabul (BNA) The minister for refugees and repatriation affairs Jamahir Anawari in meeting with Polish ambassador here, yesterday said that Poland and other European countries can help to check the human trafficking including Afghans.
He also called on Polish government to treat with Afghan refugees in Poland in accordance with the international conventions.
The Polish ambassador said that 100 Afghan families are living in Poland presently and the government of Poland treats them like its citizens.
However, he stated that some Afghans who were attempting to illegally enter some countries through Poland are in custody and Polish government has taken into account the international conventions in treating them.
