Kabul (BNA) Twelve Taliban fighters were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
The conflicts happened between National Directorate Security (NDS) personnel and Taliban militants in Ghani Khail and Khogyani districts of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA reporter, the Taliban militants were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities that targeted and killed by National Directorate Security personnel.
According to another report, 10 round of mines have been discovered and confiscated by Afghan security forces from crowded areas of Nangarhar province.
Afghan security forces by discovering the mines succeeded to prevent several deadly events.
