Asadabad (BNA) Six armed Taliban rebels were killed in a conflict by Afghan security forces and dozens others were injured in Kunar province last night.
The conflict occurred while a group of Taliban stormed on several police checkpoint in Ghaziabad District.
Senior commander of ANA in east of the country told BNA, in the clash six Taliban insurgents were killed and dozens others have been injured.
Three Taliban local commanders were also among the killed and wounded, he added.
In the end of the conflict, numerous of Taliban weapons were seized by security forces.
Another report says, a series of blasts were prevented in Kunar province.
Security officials discovered and defused six mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from deadly events.
