President Ghani Officially Opens Ministers’ First 100-Day Plan Sharing Process With Nation

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has officially opened ministries’ first 100-day plan sharing process with nation. In a ceremony held yesterday on this occasion at the Presidential Palace, President Ghani said, “Each ministry has prepared its 100-day working plan based on which each pledges particular commitments to the nation.
We’re Muslim nation and the sacred religion of Islam is our life’s base; therefore, we begin first from the ministry of hajj to share its working plan with the nation”, he added. “Afghanistan’s cabinet is a single, united and responsive one. It has responsibility to the nation, each minister and the President are servants to the nation because after the Almighty Allah the real owner of this land is Afghanistan people,” the country’s President said.
President Ghani considered the plans as good mechanism towards their works and evaluating the government’s commitments and creating confidence, hoping that media, civil society organizations, ulamas, sisters and brothers should assess our works each month. “During the first 100-day working plans, the role of provincial governors is not considerable as ministers are responsible of providing services to the people across the country, while the second 100-day working plans are made based on joint key and principle governors will be considerable,” President Ghani added. The country’s President also said the process would continue till end of his presidency, but one month would be specified at the end of each plan for evaluation of the plan, adding that the national and media should precisely assess our plans. Considering counter corruption as key priority, President Ghani said they would finalize assessment of judicial organs within coming 100 days, adding that the government would pay full consideration to reforms. “Counter corruption is national unity government’s key principle; therefore, we’ve set up national procurement commission held each Sunday for three-five hours and briefly evaluate each project,” the country’s President said. President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani further said the principal goals were to end up distance between Arg and mosques, government and madrasas, ulama, political, economic and government figures, praising religious ulamas and Sufis for supporting Afghan national security forces. In the ceremony, Faiz Mohammad Usmani, Minister of Hajj while speaking related to better implementation of the ministry’s plan said he would try his best to further strengthen relations between Arg, mosques, ulamas and political figures in the country.
