MEHTARLAM (BNA) Two people were arrested by police in Laghman on drug trafficking charges.
The men were arrested late Sunday when they tried to smuggle some drugs to an unknown location.
Laghman police spokesman Abdul Qahar Asaad told Bakhtar News Agency that the detainees had skillfully placed the drug packages in a high-speed vehicle.
In the first investigation, the detainees confessed to several cases of drug trafficking in Laghman, added police source.
