Two Extraction Iron Mines Will Be Contracted

Kabul (BNA) The Cabinet Economic Commission, chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Minister, tasked the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum to contract the exploration and extraction of iron mines in Ghorian district of Herat and in Tulak Ghor’s district.

According to reports, at today’s meeting, the Cabinet Economic Commission, while deciding to contract mining, tasked the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum to contract the country’s salt mining companies with domestic companies in order to produce salt and meet the needs of the people in this range.

Likewise, the Cabinet Economic Commission tasked the relevant departments to address the problems of factories and manufacturing companies in a timely manner.

Meanwhile, according to the decision of the Economic Commission, the extraction of Qashqari oil wells in Sar-e-Pul province started late Friday.

According to officials at the Ministry of Mines, 200 tons of oil worth $150,000 in a single day are to be extracted daily from the Qashqari oil wells.

Its must be said the Amu Darya Basin, including Qashqari, has three oil blocks, previously contracted by China national petroleum crop (CNPC), but its contract with the company was ended due to lack of work.
