Kabul (BNA) More than 75 armed oppositions were killed, 84 wounded and two others were arrested during military operations conducted by Afghan security forces across the country in the past 24 hours.
Ministry of Defense (MoD) press office stated BNA, the operations were launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to suppress insurgents and ensure peace and stability in insecure districts of Nangarhar, Noristan, Logar, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Kandahar, Farah, Ghor, Balkh, Faryab, Baghlan, Sar-e-Pul, Takhar, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Several notorious commanders of Taliban rebels were among the dead.
Meanwhile 11 Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were martyred during the clearing operations.
