International Community Not To Leave Afghanistan Alone In War On Terror: CE

Kabul (BNA) The International community won’t leave Afghanistan alone in the war against terrorism; Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said here yesterday. Addressing a press conference, the Chief Executive welcomed US recent decision to keep its forces presence beyond 2016 in Afghanistan and said the decision would increase the Afghan National Security Forces capability in fighting terrorism and ensuring stability in the country. Terming terrorism as the common enemy of humanity, the Chief Executive called upon the regional countries to get united in war on terror and stand alongside Afghanistan in this regard. The Chief Executive also appreciated the sacrifices of the security forces in defeating Taliban and recapturing Kunduz city and said the government would provide all assistance to the displace families and restoring public services to Kunduz residents. Denouncing Taliban brutalities, the Chief Executive said that the Taliban militants have committed crimes against humanity and proved that the insurgents have not changed their barbaric policies. The Chief Executive also urged the youth of the country not to leave Afghanistan alone and instead work here and facilitate the ground for improving living condition in the country.
