Kabul (BNA) Afghan Security forces carrying out military operations during the past 24 hours killed armed militants.
Interior ministry press office reported BNA, Afghan security forces conducting clearing operations in Faryab, Jawzjan, Kandahar, Zabul, Ghazni, Badghis, Kunduz, Farah, Herat, Paktia and Helmand provinces killed 140 insurgents, wounded 89 and arrested some of them.
Also scores of military equipment seized and dozens of mines defused.
Armed Taliban sustained heavy casualties in Helmand Farah, Badghis and Kunduz provinces, while few days ago, they announced that they begin their spring operation under the name of “Azm “but on the first day of their operations sustained heavy casualties.
Meanwhile, Afghan security forces discovered and defused 7 mines from Laghman and Kunduz provinces.
