Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan was deeply saddened over civilian casualties caused by military operation on Friday in Sayedabad district of Maidan/Wardak province.
The president Ghani instructed relevant officials to make use of all means for better treatment of those injured in the incident.
The country’s President also instructed general directorate of administrative affairs to provide necessary assistance to the victim families. President has tasked a high-ranking delegation led by MoD to completely review the incident and report its results to presidential office. If perpetrators of the incident were guilty as a result of the reviews, they would be introduced to judicial organs for legal punishment. President Ghani extended condolence to the martyred families, wishing paradise to those martyred in the incident and urgent recovery to the injured.
