Kabul (BNA) Deputy Minister of cultural affairs and Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari met chairman of the Russian Center of Sciences and Culture (CSC) to Kabul here yesterday, BNA reported.
At the outset, the chairman of Russian Center of Sciences and Culture briefed the acting minister on the activities of the center, including participation of a number of Afghan youth in 19th Global Youth Festival in Russia, inauguration of the center in Kabul, easing of touristic trips to Russian tourists and organizing of a number of cultural events in Kabul. He also asked for the ministry’s cooperation.
Hinting to importance of cultural cooperation, Prof. Bawari said cultural relations was the priority of the government, adding Ministry of Information and Culture was seeking to enhance cultural ties with Russian Federation.
He also assured of the ministry’s cooperation with the center.
