Sheberghan City (BNA) Up to 14 Taliban were killed and thirteen others were wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces in northern Jawzjan province yesterday
Mohammad Reza Ghafori in-charge of publication department in Jawzajn told BNA, Taliban militants tried to capture Afghan security checkpoints in Sar Dara village, Darzab district of the province, but the rebels with sustaining heavy casualties succeeded to flee from the area.
Ghfori added, twenty-seven Taliban rebels were killed and wounded due to clashes.
Meanwhile, four armed Taliban were killed and four others were injured during clashes with Afghan security forces in Darzab district one week ago as well.
