Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a message has condoled the demise of one of Kunduz elder al-Hajj Mulla Bori, passing away due to disease he was suffering.
The deceased al-Hajj Mulla Bori, father of minister of transport Mohammadullah Batash, was a social and influential tribal elder born in Imam Sahib of Kunduz and made effort towards unity and solidarity of the people during his life there. The deceased had made a lot of efforts for expansion of religious sciences and Islamic education, regarded peace and national harmony as Islamic duty and spared no effort in this regard. His services are laudable and his death is a loss, the message said. In his message, President Ghani has extended his deep condolence and sympathy to the deceased family, colleagues, cultural and religious society of the country and the people of Kunduz, wishing paradise to the deceased and patience to the remained.
