Kabul (BNA) 8 insurgents were arrested during military operations in Nangarhar and Kandahar provinces.
The insurgents were arrested during operations launched by Afghan and NATO forces in Khogyani district of Nangarhar and related areas of Kandahar provinces yestereday.
BNA according to NATO report said the Taliban arrested when they were carrying out terrorist activities.
On the other hand, NATO reported the killing of three members of Uzbekistan Islamic movement in Balkh province.
The people were killed while Afghan forces attacked on their hide-out in Balkh province.
NATO says the purpose of this operation was to arrest a member of the mentioned movement, but was not present at the scene.
