Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has praised members of Lower House of parliament for giving vote of confidence to designate minister of defense and nominees for national directorate of security and member of high Supreme Court council.
Members of the house cast yesterday vote of confidence to designate minister of defense Lt. Gen. Abdullah Habibi, nominee for national directorate of security Mohammad Masoum Stanekzai and nominee for member of high Supreme Court council Mohammad Zaman Sangari.
The country’s President regarded vote of confidence to new security officials as respect to the country’s national security and defense forces, saying that the government of Afghanistan by this step of lower house of parliament would participate with a better stance in coming Warsaw and Brussels conferences.
President Ghani wished further success for new officials of the government towards serving the country and people.
