UN To Draw International Aids To Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Pernille Kardel, Deputy Special Representative to United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, in a meeting with Second Vice-President, Sarwar Danesh, assured that the UN would make all-out effort to draw aids from the international community to Afghanistan at the Brussels Summit, his office said the other day.
She called the Brussels Summit a great victory for Afghanistan, with the bilateral commitments are expected to put into practice, the BNA said.
He said the UN supported a fair and transparent election process in Afghanistan and would spare no effort to cooperate with the country in this field, the agency added.
Vice President, Sarwar Danesh also said that the government of national unity was committed to accelerate the process of selection committee through a transparent process to help the country’s election hold in a scheduled time.
Emphasizing for a transparent electoral process, the vice-president said the financial budget of the elections was among the most important issues, on which discussion might has been taken place after the establishment of the new selection committee.
The UN Deputy Special Representative also reminded Assad 2nd event and said the UN would soon announce the results of its investigation into the issue.
