Asadabad (BNA) With the construction of an irrigation canal, water supply is needed to hundreds of acres of fields in Kunar.
The canal is being built by the government at a cost of 41 million Afghanis in Nurgol district.
An official from the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department told BNA, with the construction of this canal, the water required for hundreds of acres of cropland will be supplied.
The canal is to be used by farmers for another six months.
