LASHKARGAH (BNA) UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, donated dozens of motorcycles to address the transportation challenges of health workers in Helmand.
These motorcycles are to be used in the transportation of health workers and vaccinators in remote villages.
Dr. Saeed Ahmad Saeed, Helmand’s director of public health, told BNA that the United Nations Children’s Fund had provided 30 motorcycles this time to provide timely services to the public and the vaccination process.
He said that these motorcycles will be provided to local health officials and vaccinators so that they can easily provide services in remote parts.
