Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces launching operations in some provinces of the country killed 42 armed rebels.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, Afghan security forces conducting clearing operations in Kunar, Nangarhar, Parwan, Paktika, Kunduz, Zabul, Maidan Wardak and Logar provinces killed 42 rebels, wounded 44 and arrested another with some heavy and light weapons.
Also Afghan security forces discovered and defused 14 mines from relevant areas of Kandahar, Uruzgan and Khost provinces.
