United Nations Called Attack on 400-Bed Hospital a Human Rights Violation

Kabul (BNA) The UN says the attack on health facilities is a violation of human rights.

The 400-bed hospital in Kabul was attacked by gunmen killing a number of our civilian compatriots.

The United Nations has called the attack “horrific.”

A UN statement issued on Tuesday, said the attack on Sardar Mohammad ‌Dawood Khan’s hospital was a violation of human rights and international humanitarian law.

“Attacks targeting health workers and civilians who have come for treatment are a violation of human rights and international humanitarian law, and the perpetrators must be held accountable,” the statement said.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
