Kandahar (BNA) Six local policemen were martyred and another wounded in explosion of a mine in Kandahar province yesterday.
The incident occurred in suburb of Zheri district bazaar while a group of local policemen targeted a roadside mine during their patrol.
A local official of Zheri district, Kandahar province said BNA, in the blast, a local police commander with his five men were martyred.
He confirmed injuring of another solider in the incident.
Local officials of that province blamed Taliban for the incident said, investigation have been started to identity and arrest the culprits of the incident. T. Suraya-Yarzada
