VP Danesh Asks Intl. Community To React Seriously, Practically Against Recent Terrorist Incidents Wednesday, May 09, 2018

Kabul (BNA) In a meeting with Andhra Gilmore, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mohammad Sarwar Danesh, the Country’s second vice-president asked for the international Community’s serious and practical reaction against the recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

The United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Right praised the country’s second vice-president for his endeavors in the institutionalization of the rule of law, human right support and his key role in arrangement of the criminal code, law on prohibition of torture and prevention of violence against women, Bakhtar News Agency reported Tuesday.
In the meeting, the UN representative expressed deep concern over the recent terrorist attacks and victimization of civilians, particularly civilians with certain social identity and persisted the government’s serious attention in this respect.
He also thanked the Afghan government’s serious cooperation, particularly launched in the field of research on war crimes and terrorist incidents, with the UN Human Rights Team.
Meanwhile the country’s second vice-president asked the UN for seriously following up torture and war crimes in Afghanistan, the agency quoted.
