Kabul (BNA) The message of the country’s chief executive read out by senior advisor to chief executive Sayed Aga Fazil Sancharaki in a ceremony held yesterday on the occasion of celebration International Earth Day ‘a tree for earth’ by national environment protection department and Afghanistan environment commission here in Kabul.
In his message, the country’s chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said, “Earth is one of Almighty Allah’s great affluence for tranquility of human and its protection is the responsibility of every citizen.”
“Earth is a gift of Almighty Allah and investment for living and healthiness of today’s human and tomorrow’s generations whose health and destiny depend on earth.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of all to protect and clean the environment so that the issue of protection of environment is changed to a national and cultural program”, the message said. At the end, the country’s chief executive by stressing on importance of beautiful nature and its impact on life of citizens says: protection of environment, creating green atmosphere, prevention from cutting forests and counter environment threats are the government’s tasks for which relevant organs are responsible for following serious programs in this regard.
